My brother is an up and coming photographer and took some great pictures of Noah while we were in town. Make sure you look at them in the album titled "Uncle Michael pics". Thank you Michael for taking all these pictures…they are priceless to us! We love you Uncle Michael!

March 26, 2008Library Story Hour
March 25, 2008A library close to where we live has a weekly "baby lap time" story hour and play time. This is the first time I took Noah. The hour starts off with some fun songs, then a few stories, and then a bunch of toys are brought out and everyone plays together. He was a little scared at first but eventually warmed up and started making friends! It didn’t take long for him to leave the comfort of mom’s lap and start inching towards other babies and toys.
Oh look mom, BIG blocks!
Well hello there young lady….your not planning on taking my blue block are you?
Uh mom, she is taking my blue block!
Noah’s new friend (he is 6 months old)
Wow, this ball sure is bumpy!
Oh mom do we HAVE to go home already? So many toys and so little time!
Clean Fun!
March 25, 2008I just gave Noah a bath and he was having so much fun I had to take some pictures! He had quite the messy breakfast so we had to wash his hair (banana in the hair is quite messy!). He loves getting his hair washed and was smiling at me the whole time. After the bath he wanted to play with Daisy…she is so tolerant and patient!
Playtime while mommy was running the bath water! Look at those cute rolls!
Hey mom, am I getting a bath or what??
I love getting my hair washed! Don’t I look stylish?
Eating bath toys is a favorite bathtime activity
All clean and ready to go to the library for story time!
Playing with Daisy….she just lays there the whole time he crawls all over her!
It’s official….
March 25, 2008It took awhile but Noah is able to get to a sitting position on his own! Good job little man! He still gets a bit frustrated at the process, but he eventually gets it done. Here is a visual of the process (you will notice he is a bit mad in the pictures….he gets upset that the process isn’t easier!)
Step one…find toy that makes me want to sit up, grimace and try HARD to get up onto one arm
Step two…grunt and push in an effort to propel myself upwards onto my strong arm…all while keeping carefully balanced AND my paci in my mouth
Step three…grab desired toy and keep my balance all while sucking on my beloved paci
Step four…WOOHOO…clap (yep, he claps now) in glee at my hard work…and fuss a little since it was such HARD work!
Check out the new tennis shoes!
9 Months Old!
March 24, 2008HAPPY EASTER! JESUS HAS RISEN!
March 23, 2008I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter! Gary and I spent the weekend at his parents house and had a great time. We got in some good family game time and even got out to see a movie! We saw Juno yesterday….fabulous movie!! We now refer to Grandpa as "The Baby Whisperer" since he seems to always get Noah to fall asleep on his lap! Noah got an Easter gift from Grandma and Grandpa….some much needed new clothes, and a new book from Aunt Dawn and Uncle John. We attended church today with Gary’s parents and then had a nice brunch with his family (thanks Marge for cooking for all of us yet again!).
Family game time…we love playing Cranium! It was boys against girls…the girls and boys each won one game
Grandma and Grandpa loving on Noah
Easter hugs with mommy and daddy
We celebrated Cousin Alan’s 13th Birthday!
Happy Easter to Noah from Grandma and Grandpa
Headed out….one last visit
March 21, 2008Before we headed out to the airport we stopped by a park so Noah could swing. Mom, Jaime, dad and Uncle Michael joined us at the park to say goodbye. Noah had a great time swinging (it is one of his favorite things) and it was nice to see everyone one last time.
Noah had a lot of people to push him on the swing! Uncle Michael brought his fancy camera and was taking professional pics of Noah on the swing.
Grandma and Uncle Michael enjoyed the swings too!
Love from Grandpa!
Great Grandma
March 21, 2008Sabino Canyon
March 21, 2008One of our favorite places in Tucson is Sabino Canyon. When Gary and I lived there we used to go hiking there all the time. Gary just knew that Noah would love the waterfall there so we went for a visit. Mom and Jaime joined us (strangly enough it was mom’s FIRST time there…and she has lived in Tucson for HOW LONG??) It was a chilly and cloudy day (wierd weather for Tucson) but the mountains looks really cool in the clouds. Once we got to the waterfall it started to clear up and it became a beautiful day. Noah loved the waterfall and watching mommy and daddy throw rocks in the water.
Hmmmm, should we still go hiking?
The waterfall
Baseball rain out!
March 21, 2008We went to another Spring Training baseball game while in Tucson. Aubre’s whole family went to the game and we were ready for a fun day of baseball…however the weather had other plans. It wasn’t the typical sunny Tucson day….it was a weird weather day full of cold rain and clouds. We braved the elements until they called the game.
Heading into the game with Aubre’s dad…it was so cold we had to go and buy Noah some warm clothes and a hat for the game!
Aubre’s mom and husband Jaime joined us in the cold for the game….Noah was sleeping on daddy
